4 days...

I began packing this morning and realized some things. I'm far to in love with my clothes and belongings. I feel like I'm the team captain in PE and I'm telling kids "sorry you're not cool enough to be on my team." I made stacks of all the clothes I thought I needed to take, then consolidated, stared at all the stacks and consolidated again. I think I ended up taking to the clothes like they were my friends saying "this isn't goodbye, i will wear you in two years." To say the least, Ive begun packing and its been an adventure.

This last Friday night I had my going away party at Quincy Magoos in town. We had an amazing turnout and I think everyone had a good time. I felt like I was saying hello and goodbye 20,000 times, and then explaining what i was going to be doing in Grenada. We had the entire bar rented out except about 4 booths and the bar stools. Well my luck, by 8 o'clock we had some random crack head passed out on the ground, two ambulances and the entire Carl Junction Fire Department in the bar. I heard two hypothesis about the situation.

ONE: Mackenzie had found someone trying to ruin her party and knocked their ass out.
TWO: Who brought the smokin' hott firemen strippers?

Neither of the hypothesis' were accurate and in fact the guy was ok, he had just had too much Meth that evening. Poor guy. haha.

I want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy lives Friday and came to my party. Thanks for realizing the world revolves around me, and that if you didn't show up i would be calling with harassing voice mails. I had a great evening and hope you guys did as well. I had three of my best friends in town all weekend and it was more then anyone could of asked for, but i think mom was ready to kick them out by Monday.

So in the next couple days i will be eating with friends, packing and enjoying the Midwest. I will leave you guys with a few pictures from the weekend....

Always serving,
Mackenzie
